Very clean hotel

Great hotel in transit to Italy. Large rooms, good breakfast for a very reasonable price.

We were warmly welcomed in this hotel, which is located absolutely near the border. Unfortunately, the first flaws became apparent when entering the room (shower bracket loose, it could be painted again, toilet brush falls apart and does not make a clean impression, stained curtains). We could have overlooked that for one night, but the countless mosquitoes as well as a fat spider and a quite large brown beetle in the room spoiled our stay thoroughly! Particularly unpleasant was the mosquito that was almost accidentally killed on the white bed sheet and left a streak of foreign blood on the same. Particularly a shame: on the small desk in the room there is a laminated card on which the guests are asked to keep the windows closed due to a mosquito infestation - all windows were already open when they arrived in the room. Why not stick to your own recommendations? Incomprehensible. I would also like to say that I would have appreciated it if disinfectants or disinfecting soap had been found on the door / in the room itself or at least in the bathroom. The breakfast was okay, large selection of sweet breakfasts, the coffee machine (fully automatic) was unfortunately partly broken, couldn't foam.

Was in this accommodation for 4 nights, I cannot recommend it. In the first room the lights and the electricity did not go on, in the second the microwave did not work and in the third the heating spun. It seems to me that the operator doesn't care, since the guests are coming anyway. Breakfast: normal breakfast with bread rolls and lovelessly arranged and partly older dishes. A bar or other evening activities: not available. The reception is only sporadically occupied ...

The hotel was absolutely fine, even if it was very lovelessly furnished (TV not connected, brackets, screws and components lying around, cables hanging from the wall). However, the behavior of the owner towards restaurant guests is absolutely unacceptable. If you don't have the competence to cater for 40 guests, you'd better not do it. Instead, outrageously treating guests is a business model that can't possibly work in the long run. An absolute egocentric who believes the guests should be grateful to be entertained by him. Good luck with that in the future.

Thank you for the great Christmas dinner. We were able to enjoy a completely successful culinary evening. Starting with the attentive and friendly staff about very good drinks and culminating in a fantastic kitchen. We are excited to be back.

Very friendly hotel staff. There were some problems, but they were resolved satisfactorily. The rooms are nicely decorated and the hotel restaurant offers very tasty dishes. The breakfast buffet was also inviting and you could start the day very well.

We were received very politely by the staff. We got the room card by entering a numerical code at the entrance to the hotel, which we received around the corner from the restaurant of the same name. The rooms were absolutely clean and modern as well as comfortable. The breakfast was also perfectly fine. There was ample parking directly at the hotel. We will definitely come back for another stopover. We recommend!

After a ride with many diversions in Switzerland, I booked 2 rooms at 10 p.m. when we arrived at the Hotel Zum Ziel one hour later, we were received very friendly and helpful. All administrative procedures to check in were already done, so we could enter our rooms. Also the breakfast which is served at another second location is offered in a neat and extensive way, in short a perfect hotel for when you are traveling through or from Italy.

This hotel has two facilities, one marked on Google maps where there are only the rooms, while the other structure is located a200 meters from here, where the restaurant is located, and other rooms. For the hotel part are even large and spacious rooms equipped with a kitchenette, only discomfort the bathroom which is a little tight. Note the absence of the elevator. For breakfast nothing special to report. The restaurant is very elegant and well furnished. The menu offers a wide range of dishes, but those present are very good. Average prices. Good service. Wifi is also present.

As a service technician, we are in other hotel rooms every week and see a lot of hotels. There is nothing to complain about. Top room was big, clean and well furnished. There is a minus point but the mosquitoes from the pond next door. Nevertheless to be recommended!

I'm traveling a lot in the world, but these restaurant and also the hotel is a star in taste and service.

Oke for a trip

Clean and comfortable hotel 15 minutes drive from Basel, Vitra museum, Beyeler Foundation. Recommended for the right value for money. The Portuguese lady at the very kind and helpful reception. Excellent breakfasts.
